Guide to Making Gold in World of Warcraft

In World of Warcraft, or any game for that matter, the currency is one of the most important factors to one's success in any game. For World of Warcraft, this would be gold. Without gold, there's really not a lot you can do. You can't get a mount; you can't get the best equipment, and so on. However, there are three simple ways to make wow gold that really aren't as tough as you might think.

You could do it the old fashioned way, which is going around killing monsters or you could farm specific monsters for items and sell them. Then there's the third, and best method in my opinion. That is making use of the Auction House.

First, I'll cover the first option, as it is the easiest for the newer and lower leveled players. There are a lot of serious gold mines in some monsters, even for less advanced characters, but really you might be fairly hard-pressed to be able to even obtain the area without a good amount of competition. I would try to level up a new character and collect wow gold along the way, then move on to the other options.

Now as for the second and third options, it is feasable to combine their methods to make an absolute killing. When you kill monsters in certain areas, they will drop rare and unique items. Then you can take those items to the Auction House to sell. How do you sell them, you ask? What you need to do is obtain a mule, which is a character that lists the items that you want to sell in the Auction House.

One thing to remember about selling items in the Auction House is that you shouldn't just sell anything in the Auction House otherwise you might not make a very good profit, as it costs gold in order to have items listed. Also, I know it may seem daunting to keep hunting for items over and over, but just remember that the more you do it, the easier it becomes. Before you know it, you'll be making hundreds of wow gold per hour.

Another way to make gold, though most may find it far more boring, is to get a trade-skill. Some examples are Fishin, Mining, Alchemy, Skinning, and so on. These trades can net you quite a bit of gold, though it may not be the most exciting way ever. If you're sick of the grind, you could always do this as a change-up!
